I have built a lot of the parts that are needed to move to testing the game. The map is going to be changing each map and resource tiles will need to be utilized in order to win the matches
Well with some effort we figured out how to implement Online Co-Op, we are going to use Photon (PUN). This will make it easily scaleable and easy to use with Unity. Because we have started small with ensuring the code works before building out this should help us speed up the construction time.
Been working on a new concept, its going to be concentrating on – Resources – Time Management – Against AI (and be more networking based helping each other) – Graphics will be simple and more Civilizations 1 inspired
Our progress started 2 1/2 years ago when we started thinking about designing apps on the side. We began with Stencyl (http://www.stencyl.com/) for our first games: – Hush Baby – Fun Cantonese – Giant Pet Shop – Castle Black We decided that we wanted more networking and work on progressing towards connecting people. With Stencyl this was really hard. So we moved to Unity (https://madewith.unity.com/) and have not looked back. We have done a few games just to work out how to network: – Jon Run – Jump Jon – Pin The Circle Now that we have some networking done we are going to start moving towards building a more network heavy game.
