After looking at the old direction I know now that it would be to much to keep it going. I have also been working on my real work life and this has been the biggest problem. Now with everything taking effect I realize I need to be better with my time, I am going to make something more to the point and easier to make dynamically.
Been working more and more to try to finish the current app i have been working on, hopefully I will have a better update no later then the end of this month
Been really working hard on learning other aspects of my other job, have not had much time to work on the app. Hoping to clear some time away to complete this one and then move on to the next
Almost done the inventory system, really want to focus on some balancing out some of the details and finally moving to adding more levels and spells
I have been still working when i can to finish the app, a lot of progress has been completed but want to have a simi polished product before posting again. Been busy and not a lot of time to work on the app, but I have been putting time in when i can. I’m about half way through and almost all the main functions of the game are ready. I need to ensure we have: Spell casting needs to be completed Character skins Character attributes Spell windows completed Menu select, have at last 15 ready for launch (complete with enemy to compete against)
I really wanted a quick and fun game that wouldn’t be to hard to play. So i decided to get into match 3 and design an app which has two main things – Class system based on elemental type – Cast spells by drawing them on the screen Using some images that we purchased for now and maybe will switch them up before launch. But for now hoping to get this off the ground in a good amount of time due to not having a new app in awhile.
One thing i always hate is not getting a project done, but I have stood back and really needed to think if i want to put more work into my current project. I have learned a ton and am happy about that, but I think I am going to take what i have learned and pivot to a more straight forward game that will have a better output. More to Come Also going to need to work on Hush Baby at some point, this is in the list to get updated soon.
My main concentration in the next little while will be on the world view, this means working on: Ai from the different points who are attacking the player Player vs Environment (weather mostly), think Super Mario Brothers. If the environment will move to different tiles each turn but will have bonuses if you attack while its happening and negatives How to take over tiles and what that looks like for consumption of resources
Save seems to be working even with some back end changes and going into the online area and back again to control the map seems to be working as well (see image) Hopefully will get more done as this week was crazy with life and such
